FLAG Bedford is a user-led social group for adults with a physical orlearning disability and/or sensory impairment, and their friends,carers and volunteers, who live in the Bedford area.Members can attend our weekly get-togethers at Priory MethodistChurch, to socialise with other members over a cup of tea or coffeeor join in our various activities. We also arrange bi-monthly events and outings in venues used bythe wider community.

Mission Statement
Our aim is to combat social isolation, boostconfidence and promote independence fordisabled adults in the Bedford area. We do this by organising a variety of regularget-togethers and subsidised events for whichwe provide transport and support. We also provide a forum to ensure disabledaccess & rights are observed.

We had a great response to our third 5p challenge. It has been very touching and we cannotexpress how much it means to FLAG, the extent members, friends and family have supportedus in these challenges.The first year we collected a total of £472.35, or 9447 5p’s. The second year we collected atotal of £388.95, or 7779 5p’s. We are currently counting this years and will let you know thecount as soon as possible.
